What is a games night?

What is a games night? There is two answers the first is follow the links bellow to see how it works where we meet and what the expectations are, if you have any questions before the event please do ask. We run the events for YOU not us.

The real answer is – it’s not just playing games!

It’s getting out the house!

It’s meeting new people

It’s making friends

It’s discovering a new hobby or hobbies (gaming is so vast)

It’s learning new skills

It’s a chance to take risks, lie bluff

It’s a chance to give back

It’s a chance to discover a new way to connect to your family and friends (do borrow games from our library)

It’s having fun

It’s losing your self in the moment (Gaming and flow state, suddenly it’s home time!)

It’s looking after yourself by being kind to yourself (so you can look after others)

It a chance to genuinely laugh out loud

It’s a chance to meet new types of people beyond your colleagues and family who are often more a lot like you (I’ve met so many new people and learned so much)

It’s multi generational

It’s supportive of many abilities and disabilities

It’s having FUN! and sharing the fun with others!

What else can I add to the list?

Please do not be embarrassed or guilty about doing things like playing games, reading, looking after yourself is so important.
