10 Reasons why you most definitely should join on May 6th

1.You like fun (we’re fun!).

2.You want to support Herefordshire Mind (damn right!).

3.You have nothing better to do on 6th May (ah go on….).

4.You have something worse to do on 6th May but can use this as a great excuse to  get out of it!

5.You like board or card games. There are loads of awesome games let us show you some more.

6.You’ve tried board games but wasn’t struck by them – let us try and change your mind.

7.You want to find a new hobby, which is reasonable, cheap and all year round (great way to spent time with friends and family).

8.You want to meet new people and join a friendly community (we’re nice… promise).

9.You want to have a go at being a star-ship captain or ships engineer (impressions expected but not required).

10.You want to do better than your friends at being a star-ship captain (friendly competition is fun right?)

11.Board games help with maths and lots of other skills (but probably won’t improve your sense of humour).

Our 10th evening public games night was a blast

We had 17 players playing from 6.30pm to around 11. The night flowed well with players forming group and games flowing naturally. We tend to player shorter 90 minute games which allows people to try new games or play with new people. As usual we ended on an hilarious few rounds of Codenames.

For once I was too busy and didn’t take any photographs, but I saw the following games being played:

Darkest Dealings, Istanbul, Isle of Sky, Inis, Stone Age, Lancaster, Star Fluxx and Terra.  ( I am sure there were plenty more I missed)

An awesome night lots of laughter, good games and mild shenanigans. We are really growing an awesome community and family.
