Here is a peak behind the curtain on how we made our giant games
We are just back from Airecon an excellent gaming convention up north. It is not one of the largest in the UK and features loads of open gaming spaces. As well as hosting our giant games.
We unveiled Hey that’s my fish and for most of the weekend it was played with along side and at the same time as Tsuro.
See this gallery for more info http://herefordshireboardgamers.co.uk/hey-thats-my-fish/
We left the giant games unmanned but with a help yourself sign in the evenings and they were played with just as much and always left tidy! Gamer are great.
We also managed to catch up with and make some new gaming friends and get a game of my shelf of shame. Sidreal confluence which his an awesome hot mess which none of us can decide if we love or hate 😀
It’s two months to go to our main charity day, the work has stepped up a gear and we are reaching out to games shops, publishers and other similar businesses for prizes and to help share our event.
Phase 2 will be local businesses, if you can help please get in touch
Also a reminder April 14th is our first all day sunday game which replaces the 21st for this month only.
Don’t panic! We’ve just enbiggened another game, the crazy team have spent over 100 hours making this. We’ve managed to grow it from 2 inches to nearly 6 foot tall, and kept about 70% of the orginal rules. Total cost is probably less than the base game .
This dwarfs giant Tsuro which needs 3m by 3m of floor to play it. This is going to be need about 5m.
There is some place holder art to replace but it will be ready for 19th May https://www.facebook.com/
Welcome to Hereford city, the cathedral is over 6ft tall.
